How
could we follow LE JoG RALLYE? 2500 miles of the best roads
in Britain, from end to end, raising over £1000 for
The Salvation Army's emergency response vehicles.
Proudly
presenting 2008's challenge - 'RALLYE du RETOUR'.

The event
will take place at the end of March / Early April 2008, and dates
will be confirmed soon in consultation with those who wish to take
part.
I am
not proposing to go for the same kind of sponsorship this time since
many of your friends and families contributed this year, but in
return for the organisation of the event I will be looking for a
small contribution to charity; since the trip is to France and as
a mark of respect to the town where the S1s were built I am proposing
to raise a modest sum towards The Salvation Army's work amongst
the homeless in Mulhouse which as an industrial, car making city
has more than its share of urban poverty.
Your
kindness in 2007 raised over £1000 for the Salvation Army's
work to support the emergency services all over the United Kingdom.
Let it never be said that young men with fast cars do no good!

The core
route takes us to Paris and thence to Alsace. Before heading north
to the Eifel Mountains and the Nurburgring, there will be time for
at least a couple of 'motorway free' day trips, in France and Switzerland.
Time permitting the route back to the ferries will also allow us
to visit fellow Rallye owners from the Netherlands and Belgium.
